Connect-Disconnect-Reconnect (2021)는 현대 웨어러블 디바이스의 개념적, 심미적인 요소로부터 출발한 작업이다. 이 프로젝트에서는 감정을 훈련하는 가상의 웨어러블 헤드기어가 있다고 가정하고 되고 디자인 된다. 이 후, 이는 3D모델링과 프린팅 기술을 이용하여 조각 모형 형태의 프로토타입으로 제작된다. [Connect-Disconnect-Reconnect]는 인간의 몸과 감정이 계속해서 개발해야 할 대상이 된 오늘날의 현실을 공상과학적 언어를 빌려 표현하고, 긍정적 감정이 자기계발과 같은 동시대 문화에서 개인의 생산성과 성과를 위해 개발해야 할 대상으로 작동하는 오늘날의 현실을 반영한다.
‘Connect-Disconnect-Reconnect(2021)’ is a project inspired by the aesthetic and conceptual elements of modern wearable devices. In this project, two types of head that otensibly train emotions are postulated and designed. Then, they are prototyped in the form of models using 3d modeling software and 3D printing technology. This project reflects the reality in which the human body and emotion have become something that needs to be enhanced and improved and questions how everyday emotions have become one of the quantifiable virtues for self-management and self-help in order to increase individuals’ performance and productivity in life.
